Lifeforce Monkey Rescue

Lifeforce was the first organization in Canada to conduct a primate seizure.The two seized Japanes Snow Monkeys were sent to a sanctuary in Texas. In 2008 Lifeforce continues our work to ban ownership of exotic animals in order to protect the animals and people.

In 2007 Lifeforce investigated the Chilliwack Rodeo (near Vancouver, BC) and found shocking animal abuses. For example, "cowboys" repeatedly kicked a steer when he stuck his head through a fence.
