One of my seemingly reliable 3/4 inch PVC rockets had a horrific CATO during an ejection charge test. The rocket turned into a pipebomb and when it exploded, it sent shards of PVC Pipe Flying everywhere and bits of burning propellant onto my driveway. The suspect is likely a nozzle that was accidentally made too small. Its a shame, but it happens to everyone someday. I hope you enjoy.
