Video duration: 122 seconds This shows the operation of the mechanism used to roll the new section of the Bay Bridge into place. The guy sitting on the beam controls the movement of the jacks along the skid tracks. The section 350-foot structure weighed 6,700 tons and was rolled into place in just under two hours.
